George Nieuwoudt, widely known as Oom George, is a seasoned businessman with a stellar track record in finance and management. With his background in cost accounting, a M.B.P from Northwest University, and 20 years of experience at Mittal, he decided to take the plunge into entrepreneurship.

In 2012, he co-founded NDT Projects and was the Managing Director until 2020 when the Two Roads Group acquired a stake in NDT Projects. With this new development, he assumed the role of General Manager,  and to date, continues to champion the growth of NDT Projects.

George Nieuwoudt’s leadership is characterised by strategic vision, entrepreneurial flair, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. Under his guidance, NDT Projects is thriving as a dynamic force in its provision of NDT, Heat Treatment, and Corrosion Protection services to industry.
