Job Description

The Technical Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, and providing technical expertise to ensure client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and customer service skills to effectively promote NDT Projects’ products and services in a competitive market.

Duties & Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies and action plans tailored to client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and technical support.
    • Conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction and identify additional needs.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide detailed product knowledge and technical support to clients during sales presentations, site visits, and follow-ups.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure technical feasibility and accurate project delivery.
  • Market Research and Reporting:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
    • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Chief Commercial Officer to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • NDT Qualification and relative experience
  • National Diploma or relative certification in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field., will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or a related role, preferably within the mining, refineries, manufacturing, or related industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively as required.
